Job summary

Montgomery County Public Schools' Wayside Elementary School in Potomac is seeking a part-time School Instructional Support worker to monitor students during recess and lunch, and to assist teachers during classes. The position starts at 11:15 and runs to 1:15, with a 10-month schedule and no benefits.

Job Specific Information

The start time is 11:15 to 1:15. The wage range for this assignment is between $18.00 and $ per hour. The exact wage depends on multiple factors including but not limited to: the nature of the project, prior experience in MCPS, and current negotiated agreements. This is a Temporary Part Time (TPT) position that does not include benefits.

Knowledge Skills Abilities

Knowledge of applicable school regulations, practices and procedures, or the ability to rapidly acquire such knowledge. Knowledge of games appropriate for play during recess. Education Training Experience

High School or GED diploma required. Experience working with children of elementary school age.
