You’ll join a diverse team with responsibilities across Applications Engineering, Digital Platform, and Data Analytics. The 12-week, 40-hour-per-week internship emphasizes hands-on projects, networking, and mentorship while collaborating with Caterpillar professionals.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full time at a 4-year University/College in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science/Analytics, Data Visualization, Marketing Analytics, Math, Stats, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Engineering or related degree at the time of application and throughout the program
• Must have completed 12 credit hours prior to the start of the program
• Minimum 3.0/4.0 cumulative GPA, no rounding
• Must be able to relocate to internship location for the duration of the internship and complete daily commute using reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Interns will work in Applications Engineering – designing and rapidly developing customer-centric digital experiences
• Interns will contribute to Digital Platform efforts to simplify enterprise digital infrastructure and accelerate development
• Interns will apply analytics on large diverse data from IoT assets and perform data visualization and analytics work
