Future Teaching Opportunities (2025-2026 School Year)

BASIS Charter Schools is currently accepting applications for teaching positions for the 2025-2026 school year. We seek professionals committed to delivering a transformative K-12 education that fosters broad intellectual capabilities, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.

As a BASIS educator, you will work with a cutting-edge curriculum, participate in a robust faculty mentoring program, and contribute to our nationally recognized academic success. Our focus on excellence prepares students for future challenges and success.

Position Availability

Applications are reviewed continuously. Phone screens and on-site interviews may begin as early as January and continue through summer.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject matter or 24+ credit hours in applicable subject with other degree.
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in subject matter or education.
• 2+ years teaching/education experience.

Essential Functions

• Prepare and facilitate subject and grade-specific lessons.
• Provide instruction that exceeds grade standard to achieve exceptional results.
• Implement the BASIS Curriculum through creative lessons and assessments.
• Collaborate with other teachers to develop curriculum and build a professional community.
• Tutor students to enhance academic and career success.
• Manage student behavior to foster a respectful and productive learning environment.
• Support non-instructional functions like “Early Bird,” “Late Bird,” and lunch supervision.
• Maintain consistent attendance.
• Supervise students individually or in groups.
