Job summary

Belle Tire is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) to develop store leadership through hands-on operations, coaching, and customer-focused service. Working with a Store Manager mentor, you will learn to lead teams, drive sales, manage inventory, and uphold Belle Tire's standards.

The MIT program includes in-store experience, classroom instruction, and field assessments, with travel to multiple stores and training centers as needed.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3–5 years of leadership in retail or customer-facing roles
• Desire to move into Store Manager within 6–12 months
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem-solving ability in fast-paced environments
• Financial acumen and data-driven decision making
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate retail team to achieve goals.
• Develop leadership and communication skills.
• Model Belle Tire's culture and values.
• Observe and assist in team huddles, feedback, and training.
• Apply strategic thinking to link daily tasks to store goals.
• Learn and execute Belle Tire's 6-Step Sales Process.
• Assist in staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
