Bakelite is seeking an Operator Trainee to support our Beaver Creek plant in Michigan. You will help drive production excellence, operate equipment, and adhere to safety protocols in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• 1+ year using a computer or tablet to record information and manufacturing data.
• 1+ year in an industrial, warehouse, military, farming, construction or production environment.
• 1+ year in chemical or refinery industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods according to customer and chemical specifications.
• Operate and monitor production equipment; ensure quality and efficiency.
• Document shipping/receiving and manufacturing data using a computer.
• Work outdoors and in an industrial setting, adhering to PPE and safety rules.
• Meet production goals while maintaining safety on rotating 24/7 shifts.
