Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute engaging lesson plans for preschool/pre-kindergarten children.
• Create a supportive learning environment fostering social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement play-based curriculum (F.L.EX.®).
• Conduct ongoing assessments and communicate progress with parents/guardians.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom adhering to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute engaging lesson plans that meet the developmental needs of preschool/pre-kindergarten children.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to implement The Goddard School’s play-based curriculum, F.L.EX.® (Fun Learning Experience), ensuring each child’s unique learning style is met.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of children’s progress and communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child’s development.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom that complies with health and safety standards.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings to enhance teaching practices and curriculum delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Proven experience working with preschool/pre-kindergarten children in a licensed childcare setting
• Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood educational best practices
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
