Job summary

TLC FAMILY WELLNESS PLLC in Sparks, NV seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our holistic private practice on a part-time basis, with potential to transition to full-time as patient volume grows.

The ideal candidate provides comprehensive primary care for all ages, conducts exams, orders tests, prescribes medications, and educates on wellness. Licensure, FNP certification, and DEA are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC).
• Active and unrestricted state license to practice as an NP.
• DEA license and prescriptive authority (or ability to obtain).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages in alignment with holistic and integrative health principles.
• Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
• Manage acute and chronic illnesses with a whole-person approach.
• Educate patients on wellness, nutrition, lifestyle changes, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the practice.
• Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records in the EHR system.
• Prescribe medications and alternative treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Stay current with best practices in family and holistic medicine through ongoing education and training.

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a part-time basis, with the possibility of expanding to full-time based on patient volume, provider interest, and mutual fit. The ideal candidate is passionate about holistic and preventative care, comfortable managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, and skilled in building lasting relationships with patients and families.

• Empathetic, patient-focused approach to care.
  Compensation: $104,000.00 – $124,800.00 per year
