Genesis is recruiting for an Administrator in Training (AIT) program in New Mexico. This Future Leader Program is designed to transform you into a licensed Nursing Home Administrator through immersive mentoring, hands-on operations, and clinical exposure, preparing you to lead a skilled nursing facility.

You will rotate through departments, complete a CNA class, and be guided toward NAB/state licensure exams via structured training and coaching, delivering measurable improvements in patient care

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field is required.
• Experience leading teams or projects in healthcare or related industry is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, including fluent ability to read, write, and speak English across teams and leadership levels.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through key departments to learn the inner workings of skilled nursing facilities and how each area contributes to patient care and success.
• Prepare for state licensure with structured training, documentation, and guidance from a preceptor to meet NAB and state exams.
• Lead practical, project-based assignments that improve center performance and patient outcomes.
• Develop leadership skills through leadership meetings and workshops and mentorship from experienced professionals.
• Complete a CNA class as part of the program to deepen understanding of daily resident care.

Position Highlights

• Gain Hands-On Experience: Rotate through key departments where you will learn the inner workings of our skilled nursing facilities and how each department contributes to patient care and overall success.
• Prepare for Licensure: Get the structured training, support, and documentation needed to meet your state's licensure requirements. You’ll be prepared for the NAB and state-specific licensure exams with targeted learning modules and guidance from an experienced preceptor.
• Lead Projects That Matter: Take on practical, project-based assignments that improve center performance, enhance patient outcomes, and contribute to our quality initiatives. Your work will have a tangible impact.
• Develop Leadership Skills: Attend leadership meetings and workshops, build your skills in team communication and culture-building, and learn from seasoned professionals who are dedicated to your success.
• Become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): You'll complete a CNA class as part of the program, giving you a deeper understanding of the day-to-day care provided to our residents.
