Substitute teach and implement lesson plans provided by the absent teacher
Manage classrooms and encourage active student participation while maintaining a positive learning environment
Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students across Pre-K through 12th grade
Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, and playgrounds during assignments
Deliver in-class assignments based on available lesson plans
For long-term assignments, collaborate with department heads to ensure continuity with the regular teacher’s structure
Maintain professionalism, safety, and respect in all interactions with students and staff
Required: High School Diploma
Preferred: Associate degree or 60+ college credit hours
Prior substitute teaching experience (preferred)
