Job summary

TAE Technologies is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support assembly, installation and ongoing maintenance of electromechanical systems, UHVs, and water systems. You will ensure safety policies are followed and collaborate on new projects while keeping detailed documentation and maintaining organized lab spaces.

Requirements include 2–5 years of relevant experience and a high school diploma or GED; an AA degree or equivalent in mechanical/electrical maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• AA degree or equivalent preferred in mechanical/electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety policies and procedures and work to proactively promote a safe work environment.
• Responsible for the assembly, installation and maintenance of electromechanical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic components to specification.
• Assemble, install, and maintain Ultra High Vacuum systems and assemblies.
• Assemble, install, and maintain Deionized and Soft Water systems.
• Assemble, install, and maintain compressed dry air systems.
• Maintain chilled water system.
• Work as part of a team on new projects: offer advice in design, selection and order of parts.
• Keep organized documentation pertaining to equipment specifications/manuals/files and repair documentation.
• Keep lab spaces clean and organized.
• Rigging, lifting, and general moving of heavy and complex shaped objects.
