Job summary

Metropolitan Warehouse is hiring full-time warehouse associates to load and unload packages and furniture in a fast-paced environment. You will handle heavy items by hand, assist with inventory, and operate warehouse equipment safely.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 75–100 pounds, and flexibility to work extended hours. Forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year minimum of warehouse experience.
• Experience working with furniture preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Flexibility to work extended hours / weekends.
• Forklift certification/experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading packages/boxes (furniture) in our fast-paced environment.
• Sorting packages/boxes of varying sizes and weights by hand: lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, staging, wrapping, etc.
