Job summary

Freight Breakers in McDonough, GA is seeking a Lumper to unload furniture from 53ft trailers and 40ft containers. This full-time/contract role involves physically demanding work, lifting heavy items, and maintaining swift unloading targets in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will be paid per truck unloaded with weekly pay, on-the-job training, and a supportive team culture that values reliability and teamwork. Shifts run 5 days on, 2 days off, 6:00pm–2:00am, with safety protocols in place.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse or lumper experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Unload furniture from boxed trucks, trailers, and containers.
• Handle and move heavy items safely and efficiently.
• Stack and organize freight for smooth warehouse operations.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy and speed.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent injuries and damage to goods.
