Job summary

American Furniture Rentals in New Castle, DE is seeking a Retail Stock Person to support the sales team by moving furniture onto and off the sales floor, maintaining stock levels, and preparing items for customer pickup or delivery.

You will help with stocking, assembling or disassembling furniture as directed, keep floors tidy, handle product cleaning, and report any theft or safety concerns. Prior sales experience is helpful; high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain understanding of store products and price information to assist with stock levels.
• Remove sold product from the sales floor and prepare for customer pickup and delivery.
• Pull product for delivery and move to staging area for loading.
• Pull product for pickup, move to staging area and assist the customer as directed.
• Utilize proper material handling procedures to reduce injury and/or product damage.
• Move stock as directed by the store manager to merchandise the sales floor.
