Living Spaces Furniture in Visalia is hiring a Furniture Repair Technician 1 responsible for repairing and inspecting damaged merchandise. The role includes proficiency in upholstery and wood repairs, achieving high restock quality, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The Furniture Repair Technician 1 repairs, restores, and inspects merchandise that has been damaged or has manufacturer defects. The role is performed inside the shop or on the dock, ensuring outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
Sign‑On Bonus: $2,000 paid in 4 payments over 6 months.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum 1–2 years experience working with upholstery, fabrics, wood furniture, leather, and veneer finishes. Able to use necessary tools and equipment. Strong working knowledge of leather repairs, wood repairs including scratches, dents, and split wood. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Certificates and Licenses: None required.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will not have any supervisory responsibilities.
The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay is determined by several factors, including applicant education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable skills, market demand, company budget, internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Hourly wage: $22.70 – $29.50. Overtime pay is available for eligible, non‑exempt team members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and company policy. Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center team members are eligible to receive a team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPIs.
