Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Reno, NV is seeking a Warehouse Associate to prepare furniture for delivery—unbox, assemble, inspect and adjust as necessary. You will receive, ship, and store products and assist with loading/unloading trucks.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean warehouse, scanning items, 5S duties, and assisting with returns. Must lift up to 50 lbs and move up to 350 lbs with a dolly; OSHA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand basic instructions.
• Willingness to operate power equipment on occasion.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and move heavy items with a dolly.
• OSHA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and unbox furniture per La-Z-Boy specs.
• Review paperwork for order accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in loading/unloading on/off trucks; operate power equipment when needed.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse and follow 5S principles.
• Scan furniture into the computer system; handle returns and packing.
