Job summary

SCAD is seeking a dependable support crew member to load, unload, and transport furniture, office equipment, and supplies across campus. You will read work orders, set up and break down events per diagrams, document issues in the work order system, and maintain safe storage and handling in accordance with SCAD and OSHA policies.

Travel 10–20% is required. Requirements include a GED or high school diploma, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs with DOT medical exam

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one month of related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to pass the DOT medical exam.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport furniture, office equipment, boxed supplies, and machinery.
• Protect materials with padding, maintain load balance, and follow safety procedures.
• Read work orders, set up and break down events as diagrams indicate.
• Document issues in the work order system for resolution.
• Adhere to SCAD and OSHA policies to maintain a safe environment.
