Job summary

Redman Equipment & Manufacturing Company is seeking a Furniture Handler in Washington, DC. This position involves assisting with the organization of daily tasks such as receiving deliveries, moving furniture, and supporting new employee workstations setup.

The ideal candidate must have one year of experience with pallet jacks and will be responsible for handling materials up to 50 lbs. Additional tasks include setting up conference rooms and performing quality checks. Compensation is set at $20.35 per hour with health benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year experience safely utilizing handheld pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and furniture moving equipment.
• Operators of the pallet jacks shall require certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with moving furniture and handling materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Support setup of new employee workstations and internal moves.
• Perform daily setup of conference rooms and quality control checks.
