Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Furniture Frame Maker role based in Dallas, TX. The Furniture Frame Maker is responsible for building and assembling wooden frames for chairs, sofas, and other furniture pieces according to design specifications and production schedules. Day‑to‑day tasks include measuring and cutting materials, operating woodworking and fabrication tools, reading and interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring all frames meet quality and safety standards. The role also involves collaborating with upholstery and finishing teams, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and performing basic equipment checks and preventive maintenance. The Furniture Frame Maker is expected to follow all workplace safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of production processes.

Qualifications
  • Hands‑on experience in furniture making, carpentry, or related woodworking and metalworking trades.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, design drawings, and measurement specifications.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality‑focused mindset, and commitment to producing durable frames.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and perform repetitive manual tasks.
  • Basic math and measurement skills needed for accurate cutting and assembly.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a production team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in furniture manufacturing or frame making is preferred.
