Job summary

Tunista Services LLC is seeking a Material Handling Laborer to perform physical tasks to transport or store materials or merchandise. Responsibilities include loading/unloading furnishings and appliances, verifying deliveries, and managing inventory with a barcode system.

Ideal candidates will have basic computer skills, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong customer service. DoD experience is preferred and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years specialized DoD experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of standard warehouse loading and storage techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading and delivery of furnishings and appliances to customers.
• Receive furnishings into an organization and verify against service orders.
• Inventory shipments and note discrepancies.
• Route furnishings to storage location.
• Assist Appliance Technician in repairs and delivery.
• Operate material moving equipment as needed.
• Perform weekly forklift maintenance.
• Unload furniture/appliances from shipping containers.
• Must be able to use bar coding system.
• Provide strong customer service.
