Howell Furniture Co., Inc. in Beaumont, TX is seeking a professional, positive Delivery Driver / Team Leader to join our family-owned team. You will represent the Howell brand by delivering high-end furniture and creating memorable in-home experiences for customers.

You will lead by example, load and deliver safely, and coordinate with the lead driver and warehouse staff. This role offers commission-based earnings and a stable, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Experience loading/unloading furniture and performing final-mile deliveries preferred.
• Clean MVR and ability to pass background checks.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy furniture safely.
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, and deliver higher-end furniture to customers’ homes.
• Provide exceptional in-home service and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with lead driver to maintain a professional and efficient team dynamic.
• Represent the company with a positive, professional attitude at all times.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicles and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with the warehouse, sales team, and customers.

We’re seeking a professional, positive, and customer-focused Delivery Driver / Team Leader to join our close-knit team.

Compensation

• Commission based with uncapped potential through our established commission program.

Schedule

• Tuesday through Saturday (5 days per week).
• Typical shift hours 7:30am-5:00pm (subject to route and volume).

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, and deliver higher-end furniture to customers’ homes.
• Provide exceptional in-home customer service, including careful placement of furniture, assembly (as needed), and ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with lead driver, during in-home deliveries, maintaining a professional and efficient team dynamic.
• Represent the company with a positive, professional attitude at all times.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicles and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with the warehouse, sales team, and customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Previous experience loading/unloading furniture and performing final-mile in-home delivery is highly preferred.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.
• Ability to successfully pass a drug and background screen.
• Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy furniture safely.
