Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan in Hartford is seeking a Furniture Delivery Driver to bring customers' purchases to life. You will inspect, wrap, load your truck, and ensure safe delivery, then assemble furniture and place each piece exactly where the customer envisions it.

This role emphasizes craftsmanship, care, and courteous service. Requirements include a valid driver's license with a clean record, DOT exam/MVR, experience with a 24–26 ft truck, and the ability to lift heavy items up to 200 lbs while

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• DOT physical exam and MVR completed.
• Experience operating a 24–26 ft straight/box truck.
• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture (up to 200+ lbs) and navigate stairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, wrap, and load each order for delivery.
• Assemble furniture at customer homes and place pieces as requested.
• Perform minor touchups and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain professionalism, courtesy and safety during every delivery.

What you'll do: $65,000-$85,000 yearly salary range for this position
As a Furniture Delivery Driver, you will play a hands-on and meaningful role in bringing each customer's purchase to life. You'll inspect, wrap, and load your truck to ensure every order is protected and ready for delivery. Once you arrive at each home, you will assemble furniture, perform minor touchups when needed, and place each piece exactly where the customer envisions it. Your craftsmanship, care, and courtesy turn an empty space into a home, making you the final and memorable step in the customer experience.

What we need from you:

• A commitment to Raymour & Flanigan's safety practices, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• A valid driver's license with a qualified driving record.
• Successful completion of a DOT physical exam and MVR.
• Experience operating a 24--26 ft. straight/box truck.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Professionalism, patience, and courtesy during every customer interaction -- especially in challenging moments.
• The physical ability to lift, lower, push, and pull furniture of all sizes, including pieces over 200 lbs., while navigating stairs, tight corners, and varying weather conditions.
