Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and Mattresses is seeking a Furniture Delivery Assistant to support our Delivery Driver. You’ll inspect, wrap, and prepare each order, assist with loading and unloading, and help assemble and place items in customers’ homes with care and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safety practices and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Valid driver's license with a qualified driving record (highly preferred).
• Ability to work collaboratively to provide exceptional customer service.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, courteous, customer-focused attitude.
• Physical ability to lift, lower, push, and pull furniture including items over 200 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Delivery Driver to ensure customers receive furniture with care and professionalism.
• Inspect, wrap, and prepare each order for transport; load and unload with the team.
• Assist with assembling furniture and placing items where the customer wants them.
• Contribute to a warm, memorable delivery experience for customers.

What You'll Do

As a Furniture Delivery Assistant, you will support the Delivery Driver in ensuring every customer receives their newly purchased furniture with care, precision, and professionalism. You'll help inspect, wrap, and prepare each order for transport, then assist with loading and unloading the truck. Once at the customer's home, you'll work as part of a team to assemble furniture and place each item exactly where the customer wants it. Every step you take contributes to creating a warm and memorable delivery experience, transforming empty rooms into beautiful living spaces.

• The physical ability to lift, lower, push, and pull furniture of all sizes, including items over 200 lbs., while navigating stairs, tight spaces, and varying weather conditions.
