Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and Mattresses in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Furniture Delivery Assistant to support the Delivery Driver and ensure each customer receives their furniture with care and professionalism.

You will inspect, wrap, and prepare orders for transport, assist with loading and unloading the truck, and help assemble furniture at the customer’s home, placing items where requested to create a warm, memorable delivery experience.

Qualifications

• A commitment to Raymour & Flanigan’s safety practices and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• A valid driver’s license with a qualified driving record (highly preferred).
• The ability to work collaboratively with your delivery partner to provide exceptional customer service.
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality results.
• A professional, courteous, and customer-focused attitude, even during challenging or high-pressure situations.
• The physical ability to lift, lower, push, and pull furniture of all sizes, including items over 200 lbs., while navigating stairs, tight spaces, and varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support the Delivery Driver in ensuring every customer receives their newly purchased furniture with care, precision, and professionalism.
• Inspect, wrap, and prepare each order for transport and assist with loading and unloading the truck.
• Work as part of a team at the customer’s home to assemble furniture and place each item exactly where the customer wants it.
• Contribute to a warm and memorable delivery experience by ensuring neat and safe set-up of items in the home.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
