Job summary

HOM Furniture in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a Customer Specialist/Delivery to join our warehouse and delivery team. You will drive a straight truck on a daily route, deliver and install furniture when required, and ensure items are pallet-wrapped, secured, and checked for damage.

This role emphasizes safe lifting, clear communication, and customer service, with DOT medical clearance and a clean driving record preferred. We offer full-time benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have or be working toward a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a driver's license and a clean driving record; able to pass a DOT Medical Physical.
• 1–3 years of related delivery or warehouse experience preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 150 pounds solo and 300 pounds with a team; able to lift and move furniture.
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Delivering customers' furniture on a straight truck, including assembly and installation when required.
• Inspecting furniture for flaws or damage.
• Resolve customer complaints with the Customer Care department.
• Inspect and clean the company vehicle to keep it presentable and functional.
• Unpack, assemble, and prepare furniture for transport; wrap and secure properly.
• Other duties as assigned.
