Job summary

SFS is seeking a Furniture Assembly Technician in Washington DC for ongoing part-time assembly work, both in‑store and in‑home. As an Independent Contractor, you will assemble RTA furniture and have the opportunity to work with a variety of products like TV wall mounts and bicycles.

You control your work schedule and have the freedom to choose how much you work. Ideal candidates will have prior assembly experience and necessary tools for the job.

Qualifications

• Must possess merchandising and/or commercial furniture assembly experience.
• Ability to assemble products according to client’s written instructions.
• Reliable transportation; some travel involved.

Responsibilities

• Assemble RTA furniture for clients and stores.
• Report work completions on the same day as service.
• Create own work schedule and control workload.
