Overview

Furniture Assembly Technician role at SFS, Inc. is a part-time, ongoing independent contractor position. You will be assembling RTA furniture and may also work on TV wall mounts, gas grills, sporting goods, bicycles, and display racks for in-store and in-home projects.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products according to client instructions and plan-o-grams
• Carry and lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/bend for extended periods as needed
• Complete work and report client results on the same day as service
• Coordinate with clients as part of on-site assembly and installations

Qualifications

• Merchandising and/or commercial furniture assembly experience
• Ability to assemble products according to written instructions
• Ability to understand plan-o-grams and perform customized category resets independently
• Able to carry and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to bend and stand for extended periods
• Internet access and an active email address
• Reliable transportation; some travel involved
• Have own tools
