Job summary

Tunista Services LLC is seeking a Material Handling Laborer in Alaska to perform physical tasks transporting and storing furnishings and appliances. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years specialized experience in DoD preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Knowledge of standard warehouse loading and storage techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to pass DoD background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and deliver furnishings and appliances to customers.
• Receive furnishings into the organization and verify against service orders.
• Maintain inventory shipments and note discrepancies.
• Route furnishings to storage locations.
• Assist Appliance Technician with repairs and delivery.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed (pallet jacks, dollies, forklifts).
• Assist in weekly forklift maintenance and perform routine upkeep.
• Clean and repair furnishings and unload furniture from shipping containers.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and use barcode system for tracking.
• Provide strong professional customer service and communicate with management.
