Under the general direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, this position is responsible for the preparation and assembly of tubes and various metal components for furnace cycles. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reads work orders, follows production drawings, method sheets, and operating procedures to run production volume through vacuum furnace cycles.
- Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding devices.
- Stake, resist, tack, cement, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
- Adjusts materials from components to achieve specified dimensional characteristics.
- Loads and unloads furnace, establishes correct settings, and makes necessary adjustments to ensure proper furnace operation.
- Performs tests and inspections to ensure proper production specifications and standards are met.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
- Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds.
- Requires close vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Consistently, regularly, and dependably arrives at work and on time.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements
Education: High School diploma or equivalent GED; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
