Mid America Mortuary Svc in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Funeral Director to oversee family consultations, arrangement planning, logistics, and legal duties.

This full-time position requires a Funeral Director license with at least 1 year of experience; work is in person.

Salary is $50,000 to $55,000 per year plus benefits including 401(k) with matching, dental, health, life, PTO and vision.

Responsabilidades

• Family Consultation & Support: Meeting with grieving families to understand their needs, preferences, and cultural/religious customs, offering emotional support, and referring to grief resources.
• Arrangement Planning: Helping select burial or cremation, choosing caskets/urns, planning service details (time, location, music, flowers), and writing/publishing obituaries.
• Logistics Management: Scheduling services, coordinating with clergy, vendors (caterers, florists), arranging transportation for the deceased and mourners, and coordinating with cemeteries or crematories.
• Legal & Administrative Duties: Preparing and filing death certificates, permits, and government/military forms; managing insurance claims; and ensuring compliance with state/federal regulations.
• Pre-Planning: Assisting individuals in planning their own funerals in advance.
• Performing all Funeral Director responsibilities.
