Job summary

Treasured Memories in Virginia Beach is seeking a licensed Funeral Director to join our growing family-owned firm. You will meet with client families to plan funerals, present service options, and ensure compassionate support throughout the process.

Responsibilities include directing funeral services and visitations, creating personalized memorial products, and assisting with a range of services. Training is provided, and the schedule includes every other weekend off with no after-hours

Qualifications

• Must have completed mortuary school and possess Virginia Funeral Directors license or be able to obtain one.
• Detail oriented self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced firm.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; ability to lift 50 lbs; computer skills required.

Job description

Growing family-owned firm with multiple locations is seeking a new team member with our Virginia Beach, VA location:

• Must have completed mortuary school and have a Virginia Funeral Directors License or the ability to gain license.
• Must be a detail oriented self-starter who can handle a fast paced firm and has excellent communication skills to interact with families.
• Computer skills required.
• Strong organizational and time management are a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record and the ability to lift at least 50lbs.

Responsibilities include:

• Meeting with client families to make funeral arrangements, present and explain service options.
• Direct funeral services, visitations, create personalized memorial products, and assist with other services.

Training provided. Excellent schedule including every other weekend off. No after-hours transfers.
