A family-owned funeral service provider is seeking a new team member for their Virginia Beach location. The ideal candidate must have completed mortuary school and hold a Virginia Funeral Directors License. Responsibilities include meeting with client families, directing funeral services, and creating personalized memorial products. Overview

Growing family-owned firm with multiple locations is seeking a new team member for our Virginia Beach, VA location.

Qualifications

• Must have completed mortuary school and have a Virginia Funeral Directors License or the ability to gain license.
• Must be a detail oriented self-starter who can handle a fast paced firm and has excellent communication skills to interact with families.
• Computer skills required.
• Strong organizational and time management are a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record and the ability to lift at least 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with client families to make funeral arrangements, present and explain service options.
• Direct funeral services, visitations, create personalized memorial products, and assist with other services.

Training provided. Excellent schedule including every other weekend off. No after-hours transfers.
