Job summary

Neptune Society in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a compassionate and self-driven licensed Funeral Director (FD) or Funeral Arranger to join our team.

The role involves meeting with families, coordinating cremation services, and ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering dignified service.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited mortuary college.
• Valid State Funeral Director license is required (varies by state).
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus where not required for the FD license.
• Good driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• High level of compassion and integrity.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with computers and technology when meeting with families.
• Professional and team-oriented approach.
• Some local/multi-location travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with At-Need families professionally and compassionately.
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations for cremation services.
• Perform administrative duties: prepare documents, reports, and correspondence.
• Assist families with arrangements and pre-planning as appropriate.
