Job summary

Vertin is hiring part-time Funeral Assistants to support guest registration, ushering, and service-related tasks across Brainard Funeral Home, Helke Funeral and Cremation Service, and Taylor-Stine-Waid Funeral and Cremation Service - Eagle Drive. You will work in a respectful, compassionate environment within Vertin’s network of eight state locations.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver’s license and the ability to stand for long periods, lift floral bouquets, and work well both independently

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift floral bouquets.
• Previous experience in a support or customer-facing role is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with guest registration and ushering during visitations and services.
• Provide confidential, compassionate support to families in their time of need.
• Help with setup, coordination, and breakdown of visitation and service tasks.

Job description

We have an opening for multiple Part-Time Funeral Assistant's. As a Funeral Assistant, your job is to help with guest registration, ushering, and various other tasks related to visitations and services.

Position Locations: Brainard Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Helke Funeral and Cremation Service, Taylor-Stine-Waid Funeral and Cremation Service - Eagle Drive.

Each funeral home is a part of Vertin, a privately held organization, headquartered in Minnesota, with 8 state locations.

• A valid driver’s license

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

• Previous experience in a support or customer-facing role is a plus, but not required
