Job summary

Alter Domus is seeking a senior professional to act as the lead in the audit process and manage all client reporting. You will serve as the primary contact for client requests, drive fund/account efficiencies, and mentor a team of analysts.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and at least 5+ years of experience in investments or private equity. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success.

• Demonstrate proficiency in analyzing in company databases, IRRs and returns and discussing results.
• Analyze incentive fee calculations.
• Participate in industry learning opportunities.
• Ensure fund/account compliance with client agreements.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Act as ultimate “lead” in audit process

• Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts
• Show an in-depth understanding of investments within assigned Fund(s)
• Exhibit ability to perform multiple projects, navigate through unexpected challenges, and bring about viable solutions that provide the best results

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PROFILE:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or related field)
• 5+ years of professional experience
• In-depth understanding of investments within assigned fund(s)
• Broad market knowledge
• Accounting and Private Equity experience
• Investran or similar accounting platform experience a plus
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to perform multiple projects, navigate through unexpected challenges, and bring about viable solutions that provide the best results
