Job summary

Lateral Link is seeking an investment funds associate (3–6 years) for a Global 100 firm across markets including Washington, DC. You will advise sponsors and institutional investors on domestic and international private equity, venture capital, real estate, and hedge funds, with a heavy secondaries docket and ownership of your workstreams.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of investment funds experience, ideally at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Strong secondaries experience—sponsor-side or investor-side.
• Working knowledge of fund structures: LPAs, side letters, SMAs, carry vehicles.
• Bar admission in the market where you'd sit.

Responsibilities

• Formation and operation of domestic and offshore private equity, venture capital, real estate, and hedge funds
• Secondary transactions on both sides of the market — sponsor-side and investor-side representations
• Fund investments on behalf of institutional investors
• Structuring separately managed accounts and carried interest vehicles
