Job summary

Accounting Aid Society is seeking a Development Graduate Intern to support the Development team with fundraising appeals, donor engagement, and communications.

The internship provides hands-on experience in campaign preparation, donor mailings, and content creation using Canva, under supervision of the Director of Development & Philanthropy. Schedule 16-20 hours/week during the academic term.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program in a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, research, and communication skills.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; willing to learn Canva.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, preparation, and execution of annual giving and donor solicitation campaigns.
• Draft and refine donor solicitation letters and campaign copy for staff review.
• Assist with donor mailings and campaign logistics.
• Develop social media and digital content; create Canva materials with Development and Marketing.
• Support donor acknowledgment, stewardship, and engagement activities.
