Job summary

BHG Financial is seeking a Funding Advisor to work directly with clients to facilitate funding. You will review loan terms, collect documentation, and guide identity verification steps.

Collaborate with Funding Coordinators, Closing Team, and Underwriters to fund loans promptly; travel may be required. Strong phone skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume sales environment.
• Ability to learn the BHG Loan Products – Commercial & Consumer Loans and Credit Cards.
• Strong experience speaking with customers on the phone.
• Highly detail oriented and good time management skills.
• Ability to work with different platforms and systems.
• Travel required for first 6 months and ongoing ~5% annually.

Who You Are

The primary responsibility of the Funding Advisor is to work directly with clients to facilitate funding. These duties can include, but are not limited to: a review of loan terms to encourage the client to sign contracts, collection of any pending documentation and possible verbal contingencies, collection of banking information, and assistance with the completion of the identity verification steps.

What You'll Do

• The Funding Advisors work closely with Funding Coordinators, Closing Team and Underwriters to ensure all items are in place to fund the loan in a timely fashion.
• Communicate with clients efficiently and in a timely manner to collect items/documents needed for Funding
• Completing verbal verification recordings
• Responsible for completing warm transfers for Credit Card eligible loans.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

• Associates Degree/Bachelors Degree is preferred but not necessary
• Experience in a high volume sales environment
• Ability to learn the BHG Loan Products - Commercial & Consumer Loans and Credit Cards
• Strong experience speaking with customers on the phone
• Highly detail oriented and good time management skills
• Ability to work with different platforms and systems
• Travel requirement: All roles require travel during the first 6 months of employment to attend the BHG Oars in Experience. After the initial 6 months, ongoing travel is expected at approximately ~5% annually for periodic team on-sites, team meetings, and cross-functional collaboration.
