Job summary

Maverick Trading, a 25+ year proprietary trading firm, is seeking traders to manage equities and options with firm capital on a fully remote basis. You’ll trade US markets from your local time zone and need disciplined risk controls.

This is an independent contractor role (1099) with no base salary. Compensation is based on a profit split, with top traders earning up to 90% of net profits; training and mentorship are provided before capital allocation.

Job description

Maverick Trading is hiring a fully remote Equity & Options Trader open to applicants in Hialeah Gardens, FL. We are a 25+ year proprietary trading firm that allocates firm capital to disciplined traders and scales buying power based on performance and risk management.

Trading from the Southeast: Trade US market hours from your local time zone — the NYSE opens at 9:30am local. The Southeast — from Atlanta to Miami to Charlotte — has become a serious financial corridor over the last decade, with major bank operations, sovereign-wealth offices, and a growing community of independent traders.

This is not a challenge account. Not a demo evaluation. We provide structured capital allocation for traders who want a professional path to scaling capital.

What you will do:

• Trade equities and options within defined risk parameters
• Follow a structured, rules-based risk management approach
• Build consistency and scale capital based on performance
