Job summary

Customers Bank is seeking a Fund Finance Associate to support the Fund and Lender Finance team with credit analysis, portfolio management, and deal execution. You’ll work closely with senior investment professionals through the full transaction lifecycle from evaluation to ongoing monitoring.

The role emphasizes cash flow modeling, industry research, and credit policy familiarity. A developmental path exists toward Relationship Management or other commercial banking roles within the bank.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of banking experience in private credit.
• High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Prior lender finance or fund finance experience is preferred.
• Strong credit skills and judgment; ability to manage multiple transactions.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze financial and business information to determine creditworthiness for Fund Finance credit products.
• Complete financial spreads, risk rating, compliance testing, and portfolio monitoring activities.
• Provide underwriting support to Bankers / RMs; perform financial statement and collateral analysis.
• Conduct credit underwriting and due diligence on prospective transactions; meet with management teams and sponsors.
• Build operating and LBO-style models to test borrower performance under various scenarios.
• Prepare credit memos describing business, industry dynamics, and financial results; present to credit committees.
• Support ongoing monitoring of exposures, covenant compliance, and liquidity assessments.
