Job summary

StepStone seeks a capable Analyst to support the Investment Team in Owings Mills, MD. The role focuses on data collection, processing and entry to sustain fund information and reporting.

You will assist with database maintenance, ad hoc queries, and the preparation of PowerPoint presentations for analytical initiatives while supporting fundraising, marketing and compliance tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Salesforce.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

The Analyst of StepStone in Owings Mills will be responsible for supporting the activities of the Investment Team. This primarily includes helping to maintain the fund’s internal database, data collection/processing, and data entry.

Essential Job Functions

• Data entry and backfilling of underlying fund-related information
• Helping to maintain the fund’s internal database
• Database queries to support the investment team needs on an ad hoc basis
• Debriefing senior management related to fund information
• Collaborates with key stakeholders on implementation of strategic and business development needs
• Synthesizes and prepares PowerPoint presentations for analytical initiatives
• Perform other ad hoc projects, which may reflect the broader needs of the Firm such as fundraising, marketing and compliance

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
