CliftonLarsonAllen Wealth Advisors, LLC is seeking a Fund Administration intern for Winter 2027 in Minneapolis. The role supports account reconciliations, financial statement prep, and capital call processes for real estate, private equity, and venture funds.

Start date January 2027 and end date April 2027. Responsibilities include processing AP/AR, LP statements, and fee/expense allocations while gaining exposure to accounting software and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; accounting strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Complete bank reconciliations and AP/AR for real estate, private equity and venture funds.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting work papers.
• Process transactions including disbursements, receipts and payroll coordination.
• Prepare and monitor capital calls and distribution notices to limited partners.
• Prepare LP statements; compute management fees and expense allocations.
• Develop knowledge of accounting software and maintain client relationships.
• Support training and professional development opportunities.

We are looking for individuals who believe in accountability for one’s actions, take the initiative to make their vision a reality and place honesty, professionalism, conscientiousness and trust above all else.CLA is dedicated to building a culture that welcomes different beliefs and perspectives, so we can truly know and help our clients, communities, and each other.Our Minneapolis location is seeking **Fund Administration interns.**The anticipated start date for this role is: **January 2027**The anticipated end date for this role is: **April 2027**Come and see for yourself!PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES* Completes account reconciliations, such as bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other accounts for real estate, private equity, and venture capital funds.* Prepares financial statements and required work papers to support the financial statements.* Processes transactions which may include accounts payable/cash disbursements processing, accounts receivable/cash receipts processing and payroll processing/coordination.* Prepares and monitors capital calls and distribution notices to limited partners.* Prepares limited partner capital/investor statements.* Prepares management fee calculations as well as expense allocations between funds.* Identifies client issues concerning generally accepted accounting principles (FASB / SFAS), specifically related to investment companies.* Develops and maintains a thorough working knowledge of accounting software packages.* Focuses efforts on managing work and key client relationships to exceed client expectations.* Expands industry knowledge through greater exposure to peers, clients, regular self-study, and formal training opportunities.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS* Working towards the achievement of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field – Degree in Accounting or Finance **strongly preferred**.* General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.* Willingness to learn new technologies.* Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.* Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth.
