Job summary

Standish Management, LLC seeks an Engagement Manager to lead client engagements, coordinating with the Engagement Director to ensure accurate fund accounting, capital account maintenance, and financial statement preparation.

You will maintain frequent client contact, manage expectations, and supervise audit/tax processes while supporting business development and client communications. CPA preferred; finance/accounting background required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related field.
• CPA preferred or equivalent accounting credential.
• 2+ years in public accounting or fund administration experience.
• Knowledge of VC/PE fund accounting and partnership accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain frequent client contact to stay informed on fund activities.
• Manage client expectations and engagement efficiency.
• Supervise audit and tax preparation processes.
• Review client communications to investors on an ongoing basis.
• Assist with sourcing new clients, proposals, and business development.
