State Street is seeking an accounting professional for the Global Product Delivery, Insurance team in Kansas City, MO. As a Fund Accountant Associate 2, you will verify NAV, analyze fund components, and support daily operations for sophisticated investment products.

You will ensure clear client communications and investigate unusual activity while supporting special projects. A Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field is preferred, with strong Excel/Word skills and 401K-style benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience in financial services or related industry.
• Knowledge of financial products preferred.
• Computer proficiency including working knowledge of desktop software (e.g. Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Verify completed NAV for accuracy within agreed timelines.
• Analyze fund components for reasonability vs. market conditions.
• Review assigned, complex daily operations and processes.
• Ensure accurate, timely communication with internal and external clients.
• Research items raised and escalate unresolved activity.
• Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned.
