Job summary

Citi Hungary is seeking a Fund Accounting Intermediate Analyst to participate in fund valuation and reconciliation tasks within the Operations - Transaction Services team. The role focuses on detailed analysis, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate fund records.

Responsibilities include transaction analysis, issue resolution, and risk-aware decision-making; the candidate should excel in a fast-paced environment and support internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in Fund Accounting, Financial Services Operations, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analysis and reconciliation of cash and asset transactions; identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor daily activities for accuracy and timeliness; ensure adherence to procedures and controls; suggest improvements.
• Provide high-quality support for internal and external requests; assist in client onboarding and escalate issues promptly.
• Apply fund accounting knowledge to daily tasks; assess risk and ensure compliance with laws and policy.
