Citi in Tampa, FL is hiring an entry-level Fund Accounting Intermediate Associate Analyst (B11) to support a range of fund valuation activities within Operations - Transaction Services. This role assists with reporting, reconciliations, tax information, and cash/holding analyses, while ensuring adherence to laws and Citi policies.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience, with strong MS Office skills and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with accounting, finance, or business-related area.
• Working knowledge of industry practices and standards.
• Proficient computer skills with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in fund valuation activities and coordination with Operations.
• Review reconciliation reports to ensure accurate fund records.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and regulatory filings.
• Communicate cash position to investment advisor and investigate differences.
• Process, balance, and reconcile shareholder activity with transfer agent.
• Calculate daily net asset value and market value of holdings.
• Assist audits and ensure adherence to procedures and compliance.
• Monitor client budgets and ensure fund expenses are paid timely.
• Assist with preparing tax information and reporting requirements.
• Escalate and report control issues with transparency and integrity.
