Job summary

LHH is partnering with a growing Private Equity company to hire a talented Fund Accountant in the Dallas area. You will manage the financial activities of investment funds, ensuring accurate reporting and supporting overall financial operations.

This hybrid role offers a base salary of $95,000–$100,000 plus bonus potential, with opportunities to contribute to real estate-focused fund activity and interact with investors and auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in tax or fund accounting.
• Solid knowledge of fund accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger for the investment funds.
• Prepare financial statements including balance sheets and cash flows.
• Review fund transactions for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Calculate fund expenses and revenue recognition.
• Prepare and distribute investor statements and reports.
• Analyze fund performance metrics for stakeholders.
• Monitor investment transactions including acquisitions and refinancings.
• Assist in fund audits and tax compliance coordination.
• Prepare fund-level regulatory filings and investor reporting.
