Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Fund Accountant to join the Global Fund Services team. The role supports fund accounting, GAAP compliance, and SEC regulation adherence across mutual funds and related vehicles.

You will work with administrators, transfer agents, and custodians, maintaining ledgers, reconciling cash, applying corporate actions, and calculating NAV and related valuations. The position may be based in Tempe, AZ or Milwaukee, WI, with a schedule of 8:30–5:30 Central and potential shifts to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
• One to two years of experience in accounting or finance activities
• Thorough knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis
• Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
• Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and records for funds (mutual funds, ETFs, government pools, closed-end funds)
• Prepare daily general ledger accounting and reconciliations
• Process corporate actions and expense postings
• Calculate daily NAV and mill rate determinations
• Coordinate with administrators, transfer agents, and custodians for compliance
• Ensure fund accounting activities comply with SEC regulations and GAAP
