Job summary

SureFire LLC in Fountain Valley, CA seeks a Tactical Apparel Designer to lead the full product development process for high-performance garments from concept to production. You will design, prototype, and refine functional apparel with attention to textile performance and manufacturability.

Responsibilities include creating technical drawings, selecting materials, collaborating with manufacturers, and applying lean processes to bring designs to market while maintaining quality and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Apparel Textile Sciences, Fashion Design, Industrial Design, Textile Engineering and/or up to 3 years relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and develop functional apparel.
• Create technical drawings, material specs, and manufacturing guidelines.
• Develop prototypes via sewing, 3D modeling, 3D printing, or laser cutting.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to optimize cost, manufacturability, and performance.
