Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a Safety Analysis professional in Austin, TX to perform Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessments in alignment with ISO 26262 FuSa. You will support hazard identification, risk evaluation, and Cause Tree analyses to ensure functional safety across product lifecycles.

Responsibilities include requirements management, deriving acceptance criteria, and using tools like JAMA, JIRA, and Confluence. AES/Automotive safety domain experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment per ISO 26262 FuSa.
• Risk evaluation and hazard identification per ISO 21448 (SOTIF).
• Cause Tree Analysis support for standards.
• Requirements management throughout the lifecycle.
• Specification of acceptance criteria per project needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform Hazard Analysis & Risk Assessment per ISO 26262 FuSa.
• Determine Fault Tolerant Time Intervals per ISO 26262.
• Identify hazards and evaluate risks per ISO 21448 (SOTIF).
• Conduct Cause Tree Analysis in support of ISO 21448.
• Manage requirements using JAMA and linked tools.
• Specify acceptance criteria for system validation.
