Job summary

The West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and Department of Neurosurgery seek a functional neurosurgeon to practice in Morgantown, WV. The successful candidate will provide high-level patient care in neurosurgery/functional neurosurgery while actively teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Research is a major component of the position, with opportunities to contribute to brain health initiatives across WVU.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license.
• Successful candidate must have completed neurosurgery residency program and be board certified/eligible in neurosurgery.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Practice in neurosurgery/functional neurosurgery.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage in research as a large component of the position.
